I want to design and make clothes that represent my own personal style – unique, creative and elegant, with modern and perfect tailoring. By using only, the highest quality silk and cotton from inner Morocco and working exclusively with one small scale factory. Our 100 % silk and cotton collection reflect my love and appreciation for craftmanship and quality.

Mission & Vision

The main mission of the company is to offer customers authentic designs that are not only of high-quality fabrics and materials; but also uses unique craftmanship and embroideries that has been inspired from the traditional Moroccan clothing. The brand will be using storytelling to educate customers about the Moroccan heritage and culture. Also, the company aims to promote many social values and to empower other women through its marketing campaigns.


Inclusivity is one of the main subjects that the company aims to discuss by bringing light to the discrimination faced by women in the fashion industry. This will be achieved through the use of message driven marketing content that promote self-love and self-acceptance; our luxury brand is dedicated to all women no matter where they come from, their nationality, body-shape or age group. We want all women to feel beautiful, confident and classy.

The Vision Behind IJ

Our Founder IKRAM JABRANE started working on her luxury fashion label right after finishing her master’s degree at Regent’s University in London. While visiting her favourite retail shopping centre Harrods, she could notice a gap in the market for luxury brands that uses the Moroccan heritage and craftsmanship and taught about launching the first Luxury brand inspired from the Moroccan culture

The Beginning of a Dream

Being from Morocco herself, she started digging in her own culture and researching the history behind the traditional Moroccan clothing. After a couple of months, she designed her first collection inspired from the traditional Moroccan clothing. She succeeds in bringing to life the traditional Moroccan clothing in a modern and a sophisticated way. Offering customers very unique pieces that can only be found in her clothing label IJ. Her passion for fashion and clothing started at a very young age.

A Passion for Fashion from an Early Age

When she was only 10 years old, she designed her first dress for her birthday which received a lot admiration from her friends and family. By the time she became a teenager, her family started to notice her incredible talent in design, good taste in matching fabrics and colours. When she reached the age of 18, her older sister asked her to design her wedding dress which came out incredibly beautiful and received a lot admiration from friends and family.

Blending Creativity with Academic Expertise

After finishing college, she decided to move to London to embark in luxury fashion and marketing studies at Regent’s university, which was followed by a few internships in the luxury fashion industry. IKRAM JABRANE set out to combine her creative mind, talent in design, love for quality and craftmanship with her academic background and experience in luxury fashion to launch her luxury label IJ.
